The wait is nearly over! In less than 4 days legendary US metal outfit RIOT release their hugely anticipated fourteenth album ‘Immortal Soul’ worldwide through Steamhammer/SPV in the following countries:
Scandinavia 26th October
Germany/Austria/Switzerland 28th October
Rest of Europe 31st October
US/Canada 22nd November
Along releasing “Still Your Man” a few days ago, the band also created a promo video of a recoding session, featuring another song of the album: “Wings Are for Angels”:

This was released earlier this year for a Japanese Tsunami relief album and it received massive positive feedback already.
Singer Tony Moore, who is still recovering from an oral surgery, adds: “We are really happy about all that positive feedback for Immortal Soul, but equally for the fact that RIOT is back. Journalists all over the world give us the highest marks and speak about this album very highly. We have interviews on a daily basis and I believe every magazine on this planet has a RIOT story in their current / next issue.”
Right now RIOT is about to confirm a few US shows in early 2012– dates and venues to be revealed soon – and are looking forward to play the 70,000 tons of Metal Cruise in January. More infos on www.70000tons.com

Il est pas mal cet album... Y a même un peu de Riot des origines dessus. C'est pas énorme mais c'est crédible et bien foutu. |

Du Riot des origines? 
Les extaraits que j'ai écouté me paraissent bien éloigné du Riot des débuts, de toute façon ce disque se veut être un succésseur de Thundersteel. En tout cas, il a l'air de bien meilleure qualité que leur deux derniers albums.

Il est bon oui ! Une seule écoute pour l'instant mais très prometteuse. Moore a gagné en maîtrise je trouve. L'album démarre fort sur un titre introductif décapant un peu comme sur son illustre prédécesseur, Thundersteel.
Au passage, j'ai découvert récemment l'album Born In America avec Forrester et je me dis que ça pourrait quand même être sympa s'ils reprenaient quelques titres de cette époque. |

Ils reprendront sûr Swords & Tequila, mais j'espère bien que ce ne sera pas le seul. Ce Road Racin' me paraît en effet tout indiqué !  |
