◙ BRUTAL TRUTH: Complete Work On ‘End Time’
BRUTAL TRUTH (Kevin Sharp: vocals, Dan Lilker: bass, Richard Hoak: drums, Erik Burke: guitar) has completed work on their brand new full-length album titled End Time. BRUTAL TRUTH recorded End Time with Doug White at Watchmen Studios in Lockport, NY. The self-produced album was mixed by Jason P.C. at Goatsound Studios and is currently being mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound.
Advance song titles taken from End Time include: “Celebratory Gunfire”, “Crawling Man Blues”, “Old World Order”, “Killing Planet Earth”, “Gut-Check”, “Addicted”, “Drink Up”, and “Control Room”. End Time is expected to see a late summer 2011 release date with additional album information will be made available shortly.
◙ REVOCATION: Unveil New Album Title
REVOCATION has recently completed work on their brand new album titled Chaos of Forms. The band recorded Chaos of Forms at Damage Studios in Southbridge, Massachusetts with engineer Pete Rutcho. The follow-up to the band’s break-through Relapse debut Existence Is Futile will feature 12 new tracks totaling a little over 45 minutes in length. An September 2011 European release date is expected with additional album information to be posted soon.
◙ INEVITABLE END: Debuts New Track From ‘The Oculus’
Sweden’s INEVITABLE END has posted a new preview track “Of Sublime Dimensions” off their forthcoming album The Oculus online now via Lambgoat.com. The band has previously posted the track “Memento” via the INEVITABLE END Facebook and MySpace pages along with a preview of the album’s artwork. The Oculus was recorded at HoBoRec Studio in Huskvarna, Sweden with producer Ulf Blomberg and is set for a June 6th international release date. Video footage of INEVITABLE END at HoBoRec can be viewed now at this location.
The Oculus, the follow-up album to 2009’s The Severed Inception, will be available on CD (pre-order here) and digitally (pre-order at iTunes). ◙ HORSEBACK: Debuts Video For “Blood Fountain”
HORSEBACK see the premiere of their video for “Blood Fountain” today via Stereogum.com. The video was directed by Jon Mackey. “Blood Fountain” comes from the band’s The Gorgon Tongue double album that will see its release on May 23rd. The Gorgon Tongue combines the Impale Golden Horn and Forbidden Planet albums together as a two-disc set and is available for pre-order at this location as well as digitally via iTunes.
HORSEBACK has previously posted the track “Veil Of Maya (The Lamb Takes the Lion)” off the second disc from The Gorgon Tongue online now at the band’s Facebook and MySpace pages.
Impale Golden Horn, Jenks Miller’s 2007 solo debut as HORSEBACK, was previously released on CD via Burly Time / Holidays for Quince and is now out-of-print. Impale Golden Horn will be disc one of The Gorgon Tongue set with Forbidden Planet being disc two. Forbidden Planet is the most recent of HORSEBACK recordings that was just released as a limited-to-100 cassette only release through Brave Mysteries.
◙ GENERAL SURGERY: ‘Necrology’ To See Official Re-Issue
Relapse Records will re-issue GENERAL SURGERY’s 1991 debut EP Necrology this June. The long-out-print EP has been completely remastered by Scott Hull and repackaged with three previously unreleased bonus tracks. The Necrology re-issue will be available on June 21st on CD and digitally and is up for pre-order now at this location.
GENERAL SURGERY, one of the first bands to carry on along CARCASS’ gore-grind path, formed in 1988. After releasing Necrology, the band was mostly inactive until 2003 when they began recording and touring again.

◙ MORTA SKULD: ‘Through The Eyes Of Death’ To See Release
Relapse Records will issue a collection of early MORTA SKULD demos this July. The collection, Through The Eyes Of Death: The Early Demos, combines the band’s two 1990 demos Gory Departure and Prolong The Agony on one disc. Through The Eyes Of Death: The Early Demos will see its release on July 5th and is available for pre-order at this location.
Milwaukee, WI’s MORTA SKULD formed in 1990, releasing their first demo tape Gory Departure shortly thereafter. The band’s second 3-song demo Prolong The Agony came soon after and featured Viogression drummer Jef Jaeger. Both demos have been remastered for the Through The Eyes Of Death: The Early Demos collection by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound.
◙ AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED: Split With DESPISE YOU Streaming Online; Debut Video for ‘Miscommunication’
AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED are currently streaming their split release with DESPISE YOU in its entirety online now at Crustcake.com. The split, titled And On And On… will see its international release on May 9th via Relapse Records. And On And On… will be available digitally (iTunes), on 12” vinyl (pressing details here) and CD (pre-order here).
And On And On… features the first new recorded DESPISE YOU material in almost 10 years, with 18 punishing hardcore tracks clocking in at just under 17 minutes. The AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED side of the split features seven brand new tracks of ANB’s always-evolving-grindcore. And On And On… will be available digitally (iTunes), on 12” vinyl (pressing details here) and CD (pre-order here).
◙ EXHUMED: Debut First New Track Online
EXHUMED has posted a brand new track, “As Hammer To Anvil”, taken from their forthcoming album All Guts, No Glory online via the band’s Facebook and MySpace pages. All Guts, No Glory, the follow-up to 2003’s Anatomy Is Destiny, will see its international release on July 11th on a variety of formats including CD (pre-order), deluxe digital (pre-order), a limited edition 2-disc set that includes a second disc of exclusive bonus tracks (pre-order), single LP vinyl, and limited edition buzzsaw shaped vinyl. Additional information on the deluxe and vinyl packages will be posted shortly.
EXHUMED recorded All Guts, No Glory at Arcane Digital Recordings in Arizona with engineer Ryan Butler (MISERY INDEX) and at Trench Studios with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, INTRONAUT). All Guts, No Glory was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Brian Elliott (GRAVES OF VALOR). ◙ HAEMORRHAGE: Debut “Amputation Protocol” Online
HAEMORRHAGE are currently streaming “Amputation Protocol” from their forthcoming album Hospital Carnage online now via the Decibel Magazine blog. Hospital Carnage, the follow-up to 2006’s Apology For Pathology, is set for a June 6th international release date and is available for pre-order at this location along with new t-shirt designs. Hospital Carnage will be available on CD, LP and digitally. The deluxe digital version of the album includes bonus tracks and a digital booklet and is available for pre-order through iTunes. ◙ REVOCATION: Post In-Studio Footage
REVOCATION has posted the first in-studio clip filmed during the recording of their third full-length album Chaos of Forms online now at this location. The clip also includes the first preview of Chaos of Forms’ artwork.

ZOMBI are currently streaming their brand new album Escape Velocity online now at Rock-A-Rolla.com. Escape Velocity will see its international release on May 23rd, and will be available on CD (pre-order here), LP (pressing information can be found here), and digitally (iTunes pre-order).
ZOMBI are also the cover stars of the April/May 2011 print issue of Rock-A-Rolla. The cover can be seen at this location and is on newsstands now as well as available online here.
Escape Velocity, the follow-up to 2009’s Spirit Animal, was recorded in part by ZOMBI’s Steve Moore and A.E. Paterra in Pittsburgh, PA and Nyack, NY. The album was mastered by Denis Blackham (THE WHO, LED ZEPPELIN, WILSON PICKETT, KRAFTWERK) at Skye Mastering in Scotland. Escape Velocity also features artwork courtesy of Jeremy Schmidt (BLACK MOUNTAIN).
◙ LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER: ‘Eterno Treblinka’ To See Release Via Relapse
Madrid, Spain’s LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER will see the release of their new full-length Eterno Treblinka this June via Relapse. Eterno Treblinka, which shares a title with the Charles Patterson book about animal rights, was recorded at FDS and VRS studios in Madrid and was engineered by Samuel Ruiz. The album includes 16 brand new tracks as well as a cover of FEAR OF GOD’s “Running Through The Blood”. Eterno Treblinka will see its release on June 7th and is available for pre-order at this location. The vinyl pressing will be through Power It Up in Europe and Deep Six in North America.
LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER are among the headliners at this year’s Play Fast Or Don’t Fest held the weekend of July 29-30. Play Fast Or Don’t is an annual DIY festival held at an airport hanger in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. SEVENTH VOID: "Heaven is Gone" LP to see release via Hammerheart Records
Brooklyn NY’s SEVENTH VOID will see their debut album "Heaven is Gone" released on vinyl via Hammerheart Records internationally this summer.
SEVENTH VOID is composed by former Type O Negative members Kenny Hickey (guitar & vocals) and Johnny Kelly (drums). The Seventh Void line-up is completed by Matt Brown (Uranium 235, Supermassive) on guitar and Hank Hell on bass (Inhuman), who was also responsible for the production and engineering of the album.
"Heaven Is Gone" is set for a July 4th international release date on LP via Hammerheart Records and was previously released in North America on CD only via Vinnie Paul's (PANTERA) record label, Big Vin Records in April 2009 and in Europe/ UK via Napalm Records in November 2010.

DEATH: Re-Mastered Human Track Posted Online
A re-mastered version of DEATH’s “Lack Of Comprehension”, taken from the forthcoming re-issue of Human, has been posted online now via the official DEATH Facebook page.
DEATH’s legendary Human album will mark its 20th anniversary with an official re-issue on June 27th internationally via Relapse Records. Human has been entirely re-mixed by longtime DEATH producer Jim Morris and re-mastered by Alan Douches (MASTODON, CONVERGE, THE MISFITS). This special 20th anniversary edition of the album will come complete with expanded packaging featuring liner notes from Morris as well as former DEATH / current CYNIC guitarist Paul Masvidal and over an hour of newly unearthed, previously unreleased early demo tracks. Human will be available on 2- and 3- disc sets as well as digitally. ◙ ROYAL THUNDER: Begin Recording Album
Atlanta, GA’s ROYAL THUNDER has entered the studio to begin work on their debut full-length album. The as-yet-untitled album follows-up the band’s acclaimed self-titled EP and is being recorded in Marietta, GA at Aria Recording Studio with engineer Joey Jones. A late fall 2011 release date is expected with studio updates to be posted shortly.
ROYAL THUNDER’s EP is currently streaming in its entirety at this location. The seven song EP was released in late December and is available here.

NEVITABLE END are currently streaming their brand new album The Oculus online now at HailsAndHorns.com. The Oculus was recorded at HoBoRec Studio in Huskvarna, Sweden with producer Ulf Blomberg and will see its international release on June 6th. ◙ LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER: New Track Posted Online
Madrid, Spain’s LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER has posted “Cheerleaders Para El Armagedon” taken from their forthcoming album Eterno Treblinka online now via the band’s MySpace and Facbook pages. Eterno Treblinka, which shares a title with the Charles Patterson book about animal rights, was recorded at FDS and VRS studios in Madrid and was engineered by Samuel Ruiz. The album includes 16 brand new tracks as well as a cover of FEAR OF GOD’s “Running Through The Blood”. Eterno Treblinka will see its release on June 7th and is available for pre-order at this location. The vinyl pressing will be through Power It Up in Europe and Deep Six in North America.
LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER are among the headliners at this year’s Play Fast Or Don’t Fest held the weekend of July 29-30. Play Fast Or Don’t is an annual DIY festival held at an airport hanger in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. ◙ UNKIND Complete Work On New Album
UNKIND has completed work on their brand new full-length album Harhakuvat. Harhakuvat was recorded and mixed by Kari Nieminen at Noisecamp Studios in Turku, Finland. The album has been set for an August 2nd North American release date on CD, LP, and digitally. The CD is available for pre-order at Relapse.com along with a preview of the album’s artwork.
Additionally, UNKIND has announced a brief European tour with DESTROYED IN SECONDS. This tour will include appearances at the New Direction Festival (Germany) and Obscene Extreme Festival (Czech Republic). A listing of confirmed UNKIND tour dates can be found here more to be announced soon.

◙ HAIL!HORNET: ‘Disperse The Curse’ To See Release Via Relapse
Relapse Records will release the brand new, long-awaited album from southern metal band HAIL!HORNET this summer. The album, Disperse The Curse, follows-up the band’s self-titled 2007 debut and has been set for a July 19th North American release date. HAIL!HORNET is “Dixie” Dave Collins (WEEDEATER, BUZZOV*EN, BONGZILLA) on bass, Erik Larson (ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, BIRDS OF PREY, PARASYTIC) on drums, Vince Burke (BEATEN BACK TO PURE, LUNCH) on guitars, and T-roy Medlin (SOURVEIN, BUZZOV*EN) on vocals.
Two years in the making, Disperse The Curse was recorded at Sniper Studio by the band’s own Vince Burke. The album features 11 new HAIL!HORNET tracks and artwork from Brian Mercer (MercerRock.com). ◙ REVOCATION: Post More In-Studio Footage; Kick-Off North American Tour
REVOCATION has posted another in-studio clip of the band recording their brand new album Chaos of Forms online now at this location. REVOCATION recorded Chaos of Forms at Damage Studios in Southbridge, Massachusetts with engineer Pete Rutcho. The band’s third full-length and follow-up to their break-through Relapse debut Existence Is Futile has been set for an August 16th North American release date, September 5th internationally, and is available for pre-order at this location. REVOCATION has recently posted the track “Cradle Robber” from Chaos of Forms online now via the band’s Facebook and MySpace pages.

◙ RED FANG: Kicked-Off European Tour
RED FANG has kicked-off their first-ever European tour this week in support of their brand new album Murder The Mountains. RED FANG are teamed up with THE OCEAN and INTRONAUT for this month-long tour that will include stops at the Wilwarin Festival, Hellfest, and more. RED FANG has recently premiered their eagerly-awaited new video for Murder The Mountains track “Wires” online now at this location. The video, which features car crashes, house explosions, a cameo from heavy metal comedian Brian Posehn and milk, lots of milk, was directed by Whitey McConnaughy (THE GOSSIP, MUDHONEY, FLOGGING MOLLY) in Portland, OR. RED FANG has previously worked with McConnaughy on their much-talked-about “Prehistoric Dog” video that can be seen here.
RED FANG are streaming Murder The Mountains in its entirety at this location. The band recorded Murder The Mountains with THE DECEMBERISTS’ Chris Funk and the album was mixed by three-time Grammy Award winner Vance Powell (WHITE STRIPES, THE RACONTEURS). MORTA SKULD’s upcoming collection of early material, Through The Eyes of Death, is currently streaming in its entirety at this location. Through The Eyes Of Death, combines the band’s two 1990 recordings Gory Departure and Prolong The Agony on one disc along with previously-unreleased material. The two sessions were produced by DEATH manager Eric Greif. MORTA SKULD is the first band other than DEATH and CONTROL DENIED to be published by Chuck Schuldiner’s Mutilation Music. Through The Eyes Of Death will see its release on July 18th internationally, and is available for pre-order at this location along with a preview of the new Travis Smith artwork.
Also to be released next Tuesday is the official music video for MORTA SKULD track “Prolong The Agony”, taken from the Through The Eyes Of Death release. The video was directed by Doug Cook and produced by Eric Greif.
MORTA SKULD formed in 1990, releasing their first demo tape Gory Departure shortly thereafter, and features principal songwriter / guitarist / singer Dave Gregor. The band’s second 3-song demo Prolong The Agony came soon after and featured Viogression drummer Jef Jaeger. Both recordings have been remastered for the Through The Eyes Of Death collection by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound.
◙ EXHUMED: All Guts, No Glory Streaming Online
EXHUMED are currently streaming their new album All Guts, No Glory online now via MetalSucks.net. All Guts, No Glory, their first new album in eight years, will see its international release on July 11th. The album will be available on CD (pre-order), deluxe digital (pre-order), a limited edition 2-disc set that includes a second disc of exclusive bonus tracks (pre-order), single LP vinyl, and limited edition buzzsaw shaped vinyl. EXHUMED recorded All Guts, No Glory at Arcane Digital Recordings in Arizona with engineer Ryan Butler (MISERY INDEX) and at Trench Studios with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, INTRONAUT). All Guts, No Glory was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Brian Elliott (GRAVES OF VALOR).

(et, en guise de cerise sur le gâteau, les gars d'Exhumed sont très sympas, on les a interviewés au Hellfest, grosse tranche de rire, cette interview d'ailleurs, et on les a revus une semaine plus tard en Allemagne dans un autre fest et ce sont eux qui sont venus vers nous pour nous dire bonjour)

TOXIC HOLOCAUST has posted the album opener “Judgment Awaits You” from their forthcoming album Conjure and Command online now via Punknews.org. The cover art for RWAKE’s forthcoming album and follow-up to 2007’s Voices of Omens, Rest, can be seen now at this location. RWAKE recently saw the re-issue of their now-legendary 2002 release Hell Is A Door To The Sun this past March.
