It's a fantasy board game based upon the stage characters mixed with mythology.
"011" is set in a ucronic time, during an undefined “year 011”. The world can be described as an alternate version of XIX century. Science is deeply bound with esotericism, as many religions and creeds coexist with philosophies and convictions, in a cauldron of cultures and ideals that is both challenging and frightening at the same time. Events take place in Turin.
Turin, everyone knows, is a magical town. To be precise, Turin has the higher concentration of mystical energies of the whole planet, as is the only city that belongs both to the black magic triangle - with London and San Francisco - and, at the same time, to the white magic triangle, with Prague and Lyon. A cold and long winter is raging: 3 years ago the snow started to fall, and never stopped. The Fimbulvetr of the norse legends is ending and so the Ragnarök is coming. 8 brilliant scientists discover the lost tome of the “Edda”, that narrates that the only way to stop the Ragnarök is to discover a man whose future is completely obscure, called the Chosen One. The Chosen one must play a Mystical Song with the magical Pipe Organ hidden somewhere in the city, or the world as we know it will end.
But the Ragnarök can also be a new beginning for the righteous ones! One of the investigators opens his soul to Fenrir's spirit, and from that moment he works in the name of the Wolf God, to discover the Chosen One: killing him will let the Ragnarök start, and will grant to the man an eternal life in the Gimlé!
One of the very particular note is the extraordinary participation in the game, in the guise of protagonists, of the members of Therion, the Swedish symphonic metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson. The musicians have performed with great enthusiasm to embody the steampunk atmosphere of the game; so, the month of June will see the creation of a video (written by Paolo Vallerga and made by Silos Production) in which the band will lives their alter ego in the game ... for now we can not say nothing more!

More big news for attendees of Boston Comic Con this week, as Terminal Press unveils another book debuting at the popular New England show. The latest in a series of comics featuring the killer roster of bands from Nuclear Blast Records is here — "Soilwork: An Evil Upon Us".

"Foreign stars would herald the Devil's arrival. So speak the Carpathian ancients, as a second moon rises and the galaxies align in a strange night sky. But their warnings have gone unheeded, and before the night is through an evil from beyond our world will sweep through the darkened mountains of Transylvania. The last line of defense for the humble people of these hills is a band of six travelers who are far from home. They are the members of SOILWORK — and they’re in for a hell of a night."

Following in the footsteps of Terminal Press' "Dimmu Borgir: Dark Fortress" and "Exodus: Death Begets Death", the SOILWORK one-shot is a maniacal tale of demon-slaying conceptualized by the band members themselves, and promises to deliver the same level of brutal intensity SOILWORK's fans have grown to love from their albums and live shows.

With a team of talent coming up the ranks from the ZombieBomb! anthology series, "Soilwork: An Evil Upon Us" features a script by Jerry Morrissette, art by Tony Daniel, colors by Lawrence Basso and Jeff Fugelsang, letters by Keith McCleary, and pinups by Rich Woodall, Frank Reynoso and Andrew Houle. Variant covers feature the work of Adam Miller and Josh Morrissette.

Former SKID ROW/SAIGON KICK Drummer To Release Porn Video

Phil Varone, the rock 'n' roll drummer who claims he's had sex with over 3,000 women, shows us his XXX style in "Phil Varone's Secret Sex Stash", a Vivid Entertainment movie available online starting today.

The two-disc CD set of the Vivid-Celeb imprint will be in stores nationwide as of Tuesday, July 5.

"Phil Varone's Secret Sex Stash" takes the viewer inside the raucous sex life of the drummer for SAIGON KICK, SKID ROW and PRUNELLA SCALES. "Granted, it's been pretty easy for me to meet many groupies along the way," says Varone, "but I still feel a charge each time with each new girl. It's a very personal, very explicit experience and never gets old," he added. "This was the first time for me with the incredible five girls in the movie and I loved every minute I had with each of them."

"Sex has been the defining element in my life and both the movie and my website document my continuing extraordinary adventures," says Varone, who notes that viewers of the movie online will see bonus footage and the site will be updated monthly with more scenes.

To celebrate the release of the movie, Phil has scheduled an open-to-the-public party after his long running "Sex, Stand Up Rock & Roll Show" on June 21 at the Key Club in West Hollywood, California.

The movie also reflects Varone's all-encompassing attitude toward sex. "I believe everyone should have sex with as many partners as possible, in as many ways as possible," he says, noting that he and his fiancé have an open relationship and enjoy sexual encounters with multiple lovers.

Over the years Varone has been branded as a sex addict and has appeared on VH1's "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew" show. "They've got an addiction claim for everything you can do, but I never considered myself a sex addict because sex never screwed up the rest of my life or my ability to function at a high level," Varone says.

Varone has appeared on many TV shows, including "Miami Ink", "Californication", "NUMB3RS", "Oprah", "The Tyra Banks Show", "The Today Show" and many others.

Phil last fall responded to ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach's claim that Varone's decision to pose nude for the cover of the December 2010 issue of Playgirl magazine is "further proof that the name 'SKID ROW' has completely lost all credibility, cool, accuracy and is now devoid of all meaning in every way." Varone told the New York Post, "I'm grateful and proud of my time in SKID ROW and sorry [Sebastian] feels that way." Playgirl representative Daniel Nardicio defended Varone: "This coming from a man [Bach] who preceded David Hasselhoff in 'Jekyll & Hyde' on Broadway? Now that's the epitome of uncool."

Varone joined SKID ROW in 2000 — about four years after Bach parted ways with the group.
