Le plus dur dans cette rupture, c'était pas tant l'effacer de ma vie, c'était surtout effacer les 4 To de film porno qu'on avait tourné tous les deux. Multicam, 1080p, son 5.1... Y avait plus de place sur le disque dur après la séquence d'intro. Mais une si belle séquence d'intro. J'allais pas effacer ça.

On July 7th of this year we were honored to perform at Arenes de Nimes, the historic Roman amphitheatre in Nimes, France, easily one of the most spectacular venues in the world. We thought it would be a memorable night, so we asked our friends in France to bring along a film crew to document the festivities. The result is "Francais Pour Une Nuit" (translation: "French For One Night"), the DVD of the evening including the full show, interviews with us, and five videos shot by YOU, our buddies in the audience. All this and more will be available starting November 23, 2009!

"Francais Pour Une Nuit" was extra special for us because not only was it filmed in France, but ALL aspects of the project are French as the show was filmed, recorded, and edited with French camera and recording crews, the artwork on the package and special box set (more on that in a minute!) were created by a French design team; even the credits are in French. The only non-French parts: the three Americans and one Dane on stage and the photos shot by Englishman Ross Halfin.

The DVD will be available in retail stores in France only, at www.metallica.com, or you may order online through the record company at www.metallicanimes.com. There will be three formats available: Standard DVD in a digipack including a 16 page booklet, Blu-Ray DVD, also in a digipack with the booklet, and the deluxe limited edition box set (it's actually a tin) that includes the DVD, a copy of "Death Magnetic on CD," a T-shirt, laminated pass, and five exclusive photos (see it all below).

"Our current synthesizer player Faruk will leave us early 2010, which is why we are on search for a new synthesizer player now. PANTHEON I are due to embark on their 23-date European tour supporting ABSU on Friday 16 October, in Darmstadt, Germany. To celebrate the tour, the Norwegian extreme metallers, whose line up includes LIVE JULIANNE on cello, KVEBEK (DEN SAAKALDTE, ex-1349) on vocals and guitars, SAGSTAD (SARKOM, TROLLFEST) on guitars, TRS (1349, TYRANN, DEN SAAKALDTE) on bass, and MADS G (THE ALLSEEING I) on drums, have released a new series of promo photos, which, whilst being tongue-in-cheek, are somewhat controversial so a couple of them are only available on the band’s website at www.pantheon-i.com

Commenting on the photos, cellist LIVE said: “The last set of photos we did created a bit of fuss, and even some of the censored ones were deleted from a social networking site. I would have thought that from the expression on the faces of the male members of the band, it would have been fairly obvious that everyone was not taking the whole thing seriously, but you know how these things go! Anyway, we did some new ones for the tour, so let’s see how these go down.”

PANTHEON I’s third full-length album “Worlds I Create” was released on Candlelight Records in July of this year. The band also wrote and recorded a song titled “I’ll Come Back As Fire” especially for the sound track of the horror film “Someone’s Knocking At The Door”. An official video for the track “Serpent Christ” from “Worlds I Create” was recently debuted on YouTube.

A blog has been set up by the band especially for the tour at www.pantheoni.blogg.no, where a tour diary and photos will be added throughout the three weeks, and fans are also invited to send in videos and photographs.
