Whitesnake 2009 U.S. Tour

"Unfortunately, last night at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver, Whitesnake had to cut their performance short due to Mr Coverdale experiencing considerable pain in his vocal chords. He was immediately taken to a specialist for examination. The specialist discovered that David was suffering from severe vocal fold edema and a left vocal fold vascular lesion. He was instructed to cancel all performances for the next two weeks & then undergo a further examination. The doctors told us we were fortunate this was caught at a stage where no apparent permanent damage has been caused. We therefore regretfully have to announce that Whitesnake will not be appearing on the remainder of the US tour with Judas Priest, Whitesnake sincerely regrets any disappointment this may cause."

Norway’s Emperor have been added to the impressive list of artists set to be featured on Electronic Arts forthcoming Brutal Legend video game. The action-adventure game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 features Jack Black as the game’s lead character with additional game players featuring the voices of Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford and actor/celebrity Tim Curry.

Brutal Legend creative director Tim Schafer, used his own music experience as inspiration for the game. It is the second game from Schafer’s San Francisco-based Double Fine Productions, a company he launched in 2000 after leaving LucasArts. Electronic Arts’ web-based biography of the game notes it “features the character of Eddie Riggs, a roadie, who is accidentally transported to a fantasy world inspired by the artwork of heavy metal album covers. Eddie becomes the world’s savior leading the down-trodden humans against a range of supernatural overlords using a battle axe, his Flying V guitar infused with magical powers and a customizable hot rod.”

The game follows the recent release of Live Inferno, a special series of recordings (2cd, dvd, deluxe box, limited 7-inch) captured during Emperor’s 2006/2007 reunion performances. Professionally tracked and featuring stunning packaging, the series celebrates the Norwegian black metal band’s sold out performances at Norway’s popular Inferno Fest and Germany’s Wacken Open Air Festival.

Forming in 1991, Emperor recordings have sold hundreds of thousands worldwide. Their impact on black/extreme metal ranks them as one of the genre's most influential. Respected by musician, fan and critic alike, Emperor recorded their final album, Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire & Demise, in 2001. Guitarist Samoth and drummer Trym continued together in Zyklon; their third and latest album, Disintegrate, released in 2006. Vocalist/guitarist Ihsahn went on to work with the now defuct band project Peccatum. He produced/recorded the debut from Hardingrock (featuring musical contributions from partner Heidi S. Tveitan from Starofash and famed Norwegian fiddler Knut Buen). He is currently finishing work on his third solo album planned for release in early 2010.

Additional artists confirmed for inclusion on Brutal Legend include Anthrax, Anvil, Black Sabbath, Carcass, Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, Judas Priest, King Diamond, Mastodon, Megadeth, Ministry, Motley Crue, Motorhead, Ozzy Osborne, Rotting Christ, Skeletonwitch, Slayer, and Testament.

SONIC SYNDICATE – Present new singer

After having multiple chart entries all over Europe with their latest album "Love And Other Disasters" Sonic Syndicate directly attacked the world supporting NIGHTWISH on their US tour, IN FLAMES throughout Europe followed by a co-headlining tour with Swedish fellas and labelmates DEATHSTARS and more. After an intense year of touring the band received news that singer Roland Johansson is calling it quits in late April.

Without delay, the band and management contacted Bandit Rock Radio "Stockholm" to announce the news and team up for what has become something more then they could ever have hoped for. A diamond in the rough, a soul mate, a kick ass fucking singer that has so much hunger and talent to take the band to places they could never reach before.

The band will be releasing a new EP called "Rebellion", which contains two brand new songs ("Burn This City", "Rebellion In Nightmareland") featuring Nathan, on November 6th this year, which comes together with the latest album "Love And Other Disasters" as a all-in-one-package. The cover artwork to "Rebellion" will be done by Gustavo Savez of Abstrata art.

SONIC SYNDICATE is planning to hit the road this fall so get ready, the rebellion has begun!

Sinon, j'aime bien la conclusion du Monde :

Les deux crétins d'Oasis auront donc fait une sortie remarquée. En tout cas plus que la qualité de leurs récents concerts, comme le font entendre les documents pirates qui circulent sur le Net, ou leur album Dig Your Own Soul (2008). A régler ses problèmes relationnels sur le dos de leurs fans et des professionnels du spectacle, la fratrie d'Oasis a gâché la fête Rock en Seine par des bagarres de cour d'école.

MARIONETTE lead guitarist and backing vocalist Aron Parmerud recently described Enemies as a monumental evolutionary step from the band’s debut album Spite. “Unlike the recording process of Spite we recorded Enemies over a period of months, and we have had plenty of time to try new things in the studio to make the album absolutely insane. Every element that you heard on Spite has been taken to the extreme. At the same time, there is a clear evolution from Spite to Enemies. All of the live experience we have had while touring has made us more skillful as individual musicians and tighter as a band. All this will reflect itself on Enemies when it is in your hands this fall!”

Enemies, the follow up to MARIONETTE’s debut album Spite, was recorded with a team of up-and-coming as well as established names in Swedish music including Pontus Hjelm (DEAD BY APRIL) and two-time Swedish Grammis award winning producer and songwriter Åke Parmerud. The album was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (IN FLAMES, AT THE GATES, BRING ME THE HORIZON) at Studio Fredman and Peter In De Betou (DIMMU BORGIR, ZONARIA) at Tailor Maid respectively in May 2009.

Dup' n'aime pas trop ; quant à moi, j'avais bien aimé en live, mais les albums studio me bottent pas des masses

et Axxis a eu une période plus hard mélo que pur heavy/speed teuton en début de carrière : comme Rage, c'est beaucoup moins caricatural qu'un Grave Digger, U.D.O. ou Metalium
