According to Classic Rock magazine, Butler, Iommi and Appice "sen[t] shivers down the spine, as they deliver[ed] the ultimate tribute to the man who's not there.

Niji Entertainement Group, le label formé par Ronnie James Dio et sa femme Wendy, va sortir un Live de DIO intitulé Dio At Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987 le 9 novembre prochain. L'album se présente sous la forme d'un double digipack avec des photos d'époque.

Immediately following the broadcast, fans will be able to download the song from EddieTrunk.com exclusively for the following week. Thereafter Mike Tramp will permit anyone and everyone to place the track on their web sites for free download. The song and the "Download Player” will be available on www.miketramp.com.
Tramp wrote and recorded "Hymn To Ronnie" while working on his new album, "2nd Act", with ROCK'N'ROLL CIRCUZ. Tramp says that the track always needed to stand by itself and he never felt that he could include it in any form on a commercial album. According to a press release, "This song belongs to all of Ronnie's fans; it's not just a tribute, it's a hymn, something much more sacred to fit the man with the true voice of rock'n'roll." |

Et une statue va être érigée en Bulgarie, à Kavarna. Le maire de la ville est fan de Metal :
Legendary heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio will have a monument dedicated to him in the Bulgarian Black-sea coastal town of Kavarna. The statue will be placed in the city's central park, as part of the soon-to-be built "Walk of Rock," a project approved by the City Council four years ago.
According to Radio Bulgaria, the decision to erect the monument was taken by the municipal administration, with the most active proponents being Kavarna Mayor Tzonko Tzonev as well as leading journalists, musicians and singers.
A replica of the monument was displayed during the three-day Kavarna Rock Fest in July and a plaster model of the statue has since been created, marking the final stage of the preparation for its construction.
The actual statue will be 1.5 meters in height (approximately four feet and eleven inches) and will be combined with large stones taken from the sea.
